pho sho.

after salsa class last night (ya, adrian and mark went. for more on that, view rose's blog.) we hit up this pho spot we been to like 3 times already. the vietnamese guy pretty much knows us, especially adrian. Me, christal, ethel, & mark walked in while adrian was moving our car and the vietnamese guy who is really smiley said with a heavy viet accent "Where da big guy?" We all busted out laughing our asses off and I was like "Oh, he's moving the car." sooo hilarious. last time we were there he gave adrian the remote to watch the laker game. a true homie. Here he is taking our orders. lol.

This spot is dope cuz it's right in the heart of Glendale, on Brand right between Hot Wings & Rosegreen, n it's called Pho Hut. It's a lil hole in the wall spot. Those are the best. We Glendale peeps don't have to head all the way to K-town anymore for some bomb pho, since it's so close by. And these people are actually Vietnamese, meaning real authentic Vietnamese food. not Vietnamese food by Koreans.

We had the pho #1, which had beef tendon, well done brisket, and tripe (Adrian loves tripe but i hate it). The broth at this place is tasty. At some other places the broth just tastes too plain and watery. You gotta ask for onions though if you want some with your soup. They do give you those bean sprouts though, but we don't really eat those. They really good for you tho. Onions and sprouts are free. We also got some Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich with grilled pork, cilantro, carrots on a French baguette). yumm. Banh mi should be called Bomb Me cuz it's so bomb. lol corny i know. damn christal wtf? hahaby the way the egg rolls are the shit. and ethel says the chicken wings are good too. check it out, you'll love it.
